Welcome to Maple Grove UMC

Our mission is to be an open community of Christians who love God and serve our neighbors (Luke 10:27). We truly do believe and try to live out the slogan of our denomination's national ad campaign Open Doors, Open Minds, Open Hearts. Our ministry teams reflect our understanding that every member is a minister. Maple Grove is strategically located on the southwest corner of the busy High and Henderson intersection in the Clintonville-Beechwold area of Columbus which provides us a wonderful window to the world.  We would like to invite you to join us for any of our events, especially Sunday morning worship and Sunday School.

Peace Pole Dedication

Please join us after the 2nd service as we dedicate our new peace pole on the north side of the church.  We will gather around the pole to pray and sing for peace on earth.  Maple Grove's first peace pole was put in the ground almost 20 years ago by Korean War Veteran Hank Miller (Hank died on July 4th 1999) and Vietnam War Veteran Bill Tenney.  Special thanks to Lowell Smith, Winston Bash, and Bill Tenney for installing our new pole. May peace prevail on earth and in our hearts and minds.

The meal includes traditional Thanksgiving turkey and trimmings. The turkey is prepared by Weiland's Market. Your heart will be warmed by joining in this important ministry. Come join us and meet and eat with our guests who might otherwise be alone on the holiday.  To register for the meal or volunteer to serve, please contact the Church Office at 614.262.1163.
