Tween and Youth Ministries
God didn’t give us a spirit of fear but one that is powerful, loving, and self-controlled. 2 Timothy 1:7
Maple Grove provides a safe place for both Middle and High School students to make friends, have fun and grow in their faith, and experience God. Teens are challenged to express their struggles, their doubts, their faith and simply be themselves.
As the Maple Grove Youth we intend to have fun and to love and help others by exploring our faith through being present and active in outreach in order to better ourselves and others.

High School Mission Trip
Also I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. – Isaiah 6:8
Our annual summer week-long mission trip has long been an important part of our commitment to love God and serve our neighbors.
In summer of 2021 youth and adult leaders will travel to Chicago, IL to live, work, and worship with our neighbors. Each mission trip takes us to a new place, outside our usual comfort zone and touched us deeply inside. We grow in humility, compassion, skills, and understanding. We discover that we have more in common with our brothers and sisters than we have differences. A mission trip is a place to offer and receive God’s grace.
Through our mission trips we are fulfilling Christ’s call to live out being the hands, feet, and heart of Christ!
Summer 2021 Trip: July 10th-16th to Chicago, IL.

Youth Service Work
Through service work we grow loving, caring, and compassionate people. Service helps us grow in our relationship with God and with each other. Our youth participate in service work through serving with the CRC, decorating Maple Grove for Advent, doing a prayer walk to our neighboring schools, and working with children in a variety of settings. This year we are creatively thinking up ways to complete socially distant service during this pandemic!
